Travel Teams
We recommend that the information that you include on this side of the program be independent to the season. Use the season details on the right (configurable in the dashboard) to include details specific to the season. This text block should just be a short, 2-3 sentence description of your program.
Ages
BBLYHA Travel Program provides hockey for boys and girls ages 9 to 15 and follows District 10 Hockey age classifications.
When
The travel team season begins with Pre-Skates and Evaluations in September. Practice and game play begins in October and runs until playoffs in March.
Where
Practices are held at the Princeton Ice Arena - West Rink.
Game locations will vary by team and are dependent on the season and tournament schedules.
Practices
Travel teams typically practice 2-3 times per week. Practices may include dryland training.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Example: Teams will play 20-30 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends.
Jerseys
Players will receive a light (home game) and dark (away game) jersey with coordinating socks, which they will keep at the end of the season. Additionally, each player will receive a practice jersey
Travel Team Levels
Squirt
Teams are structured with A, B1, B1, B2 and C levels. This level is non-checking.
Peewee
Teams are structured with AA, A, B1, B1, B2 and C levels. This level is non-checking.
Bantam
Teams are structured with AA, A, B1, B2 and C levels. This level allows checking.
Frequently Asked Questions
2025-2026 Season
Registration for the 2025-2026 season will open Tuesday, July 1, 2025 and close Friday, August 15, 2025.
Registrations after August 15th will incur a $50 late fee.
The 25-26 registration fee is $200 per player. The 25-26 association dues are $10 per player. Ice fees vary by level of play. See registration for details.
Crossbar charges transaction fees on all online payments. These fees are typically 1.99% + $0.99 for credit cards.
